First day of Kindergarten!

Today was Eryn's first day of Kindergarten. She was sooooo excited!! I think Nolan had a hard time adjusting, as the bus pulled away he kept saying "Where is the bus going? Where is Eryn going?" Too bad it will be a couple of years before he joins her on the bus!!

Eryn really liked school, and says she will go back again tomorrow!! :) She is already making new friends!!

Fishing at the Pond

Mom and I took the kids fishing this afternoon at Scott and Tami's (thanks for letting us catch your fish!!) The kids really enjoyed it, and even went for a boat ride! They are both becoming quite the fisherman/woman! Nolan caught his first fish within 1 minute of casting, and was quite suprised at the fish at the end of his pole! They caught between 8-10 fish (with grandma's help, and plan on eating them sometime soon!!

Pet Kitty

We went to visit grandma and grandpa Carolan today... and they had a surprise for the kids... another new kitty!! This one had gotten "dropped off" on the farm. It's a very friendly kitty and took to Eryn right away, following her around the farm. It didn't take Eryn too long to warm up to her either. The kids fed her milk and cat food, and Eryn asked many times to bring her home. You all know what my (and Randy's) answer would be to that:) Eryn decided to name her "Ding-a-ling" since when we were walking across the yard grandma called the kitty that cuz she wasn't following us.....

United Way Family Fun Day

This morning the family participated in the United Way Family fun day. The kids enjoyed the different games and prizes!

Pet Frog

On Tuesday night Nolan had an amazing discovery for a 2 year old... a tree frog was in his tub of toys on the porch. He was so excited, but neither of the kids wanted to touch the frog... Eryn even went into the house when the frog was trying to jump out of the tub. After supper Nolan and I went to check on his pet frog, but he had gotten out of the tub. NOlan is pretty sure that he went to Lana's, so he is continuting to look and wonder where his pet frog has went.

Bridal Shower

On 8/8/09, the bridesmaids hosted the bridal shower for Lacy. She received a lot of nice gifts (and will probably need to add on to her kitchen to fit them all in:). Later that evening we all enjoyed spa treatments before hitting the local bars for some entertainment.... I think everyone had a good time, and is really looking forward to the wedding on the 29th!

Birthday Parties

In the past couple of weeks we have been to two birthday parties. My neice Lexie turned 3 on the 23rd of July and Conner (Eryn's neighbor and friend) turned 5 yesterday. The kids enjoyed Conner's new pool and of course, the birthday cake!!
